We are pleased to welcome two new associates:

October 2021

Julia Simon joined our Berlin office on September 1, 2021. After her first state examination at the University of Konstanz with a focus on European and international law, Julia worked at the High Commission for Refugees in Vienna. Julia Simon completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart with stations at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and at the law firm Redeker in the department for European and constitutional law. Julia is now part of our environmental law team in the area of energy transition and climate change law.

 

Nele Lemiss also started with us in the Berlin office in October 2021. Nele studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin, with a focus on European and administrative law. During her studies, she graduated from the Humboldt Consumer Law Clinic. She worked as a research assistant at Hengeler Mueller in the area of public commercial law and worked during her legal clerkship at the Berlin Administrative Court as well as other positions. Nele strengthens our regulatory team in the area of regulatory future aspects of the automotive industry.
