1. Controller and Data Protection Officer

2. Website visits

When our web pages including all of the subpages (together the ‘website’) are viewed, the system used to access them automatically sends information to our website server. This information is stored in so-called log files, which record the IP address of the computer viewing the page, the date and time of the page view, the details of the request (specific page), the website from which the page is viewed (referrer URL), the browser and operating system used, the Internet service provider and any comparable data. pswp uses this data to provide access to the website, identify and remedy any technical problems and prevent the website content from being misused or, if applicable, to pursue such misuse. pswp additionally uses this information in anonymised form for statistical purposes. The legal basis for the processing of this personal data is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f of the GDPR (legitimate interests of the controller).

3. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These serve to record your choice of language. These cookies are deleted automatically after a month. You can additionally delete the cookies at any time within your browser’s security settings. Cookies are text files which are stored on your data medium. A cookie generally contains the name of the domain from which the cookie data was sent, information concerning the age of the cookie and a so-called session ID, which is used to identify various requests made by your browser in the course of a session. If our website server is accessed anew, the Internet browser sends the cookie previously received back to the server.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data with cookies is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests of the controller).

4. Emails

When you click on an email address on the website or on the ‘Apply now’ button within the careers section, your standard email program will open and you can send us an email. When you send us an email in this way or by any other means, your email address is used. No other personal data is required. You are, however, at liberty to share other personal data with us. pswp uses the data you provide for the purposes of processing and responding to your enquiry. The legal basis for the processing of such personal data is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR (consent of the data subject), Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests of the controller).

5. Google Maps

This website uses the services of Google Maps. These enable us to show you interactive maps directly within the website and allow you to use the map functions at your convenience. When you visit the website, Google is notified that you viewed the subpage in question. In addition, the data stipulated in section 2 of this privacy policy is shared with Google, irrespective of whether you are logged in via a user account provided by Google or whether no (logged-in) user account is used. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly attributed to your account. If you do not wish data to be attributed to your Google profile, you must log out of your account before clicking on the button. Google records your data as usage profiles and uses it for advertising and market research purposes and/or for needs-based website design purposes. This form of data usage serves in particular to provide needs-based advertising (even to users who are not logged in) and to notify other social-network users of your activities on our website. You are at liberty to object to the creation of such user profiles and must contact Google in order to exercise this right.

6. Google Fonts

Our website uses Google Fonts to achieve uniform presentation of fonts. When you view the website, your browser downloads the fonts to the browser cache to be able to display texts and fonts correctly. To this end, the browser you use has to connect to the Google servers. This makes Google aware of the fact that our website was viewed at your IP address. It is not known for what purposes this data is processed. If your browser does not support Web fonts, one of your computer’s standard fonts is used instead.

7. Soziale Medien

Auf der Website nutzen wir eigens erstellte Buttons für die Verlinkung zu Twitter, Xing und LinkedIn. Diese sind lokal auf dem Server eingebunden, auf dem pswp.de gehostet wird, und werden nicht durch von Twitter & Co bereitgestellte Plug-Ins eingebunden. Beim Besuch der pswp-Website findet also keine Datenweitergabe an die sozialen Dienste statt. Wenn Sie auf einen der Social-Media-Buttons klicken, verlassen Sie die pswp-Website und werden auf die Seite des jeweiligen Dienstes geleitet. Hier müssen Sie sich aktiv in sein Profil einloggen, damit Daten übertragen werden.

Hierbei werden uns Ihr Name und weitere Informationen zu Ihrer eigenen Präsenz bei dem betreffenden Dienst übermittelt. Beim Aufruf der Dienste gelten deren jeweilige Datenschutzerklärungen und Nutzungsbestimmungen.

8. Nextcloud

Wir verwenden Software von Nextcloud zum Zwecke eines erleichterten Datenaustauschs. Beim Aufruf der entsprechenden Server-Website werden von uns Datum und Uhrzeit des Zugriffs, die aufgerufene URL, sowie Browser und IP-Adresse des Anwenders gespeichert. Die Nextcloud GmbH, Hauptmannsreute 44A, 70192 Stuttgart, Germany („Nextcloud“) speichert zudem die Email-Adresse des Benutzers, wenn diese zum Teilen von Inhalten genutzt wurde. Die Dauer dieser Speicherung hängt vom Ablaufdatum des hierbei genutzten Links ab und beträgt in der Regel 30 Tage.

9. Weitergabe von Daten

Wir bedienen uns für die Bereitstellung dieser Website und anderer digitaler Dienste der Unterstützung externer Dienstleister, die zur Erbringung dieser Dienstleistungen Zugriff auf Ihre personenbezogenen Daten erhalten. Diese Dienstleister sind sorgfältig ausgewählt und erfüllen hohe Datenschutz- und Datensicherheitsstandards. Sie sind zu strikter Verschwiegenheit verpflichtet und verarbeiten Daten nur im Auftrag und nach den Weisungen von pswp.

Außer in den in dieser Datenschutzerklärung erläuterten Fällen gibt pswp Ihre Daten nur an Dritte weiter, wenn Sie Ihre ausdrückliche Einwilligung dazu erteilt haben (Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 Buchstabe a DSGVO), wenn dies für die Erfüllung eines Vertrags mit Ihnen oder zur Durchführung vorvertraglicher Maßnahmen erforderlich ist (Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 Buchstabe b DSGVO), wenn pswp dazu rechtlich verpflichtet ist (Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 Buchstabe c DSGVO).

10. Speicherdauer

Personenbezogene Daten von Besuchern unserer Website werden gelöscht, wenn ihre Speicherung für die in dieser Datenschutzerklärung beschriebenen Zwecke nicht mehr erforderlich ist, soweit nicht gesetzliche Bestimmungen eine längere Speicherung vorschreiben. Nutzungsdaten werden regelmäßig für einen Zeitraum von 30 Tagen gespeichert. Anderweitig übermittelte personenbezogene Daten (E-Mail, Social Media) werden gelöscht, wenn ihre Speicherung für die hier beschriebenen bzw. die mit der Datenübermittlung verfolgten Zwecke nicht mehr erforderlich ist, soweit nicht gesetzliche Bestimmungen eine längere Speicherung erlauben. Die Daten im Logfile (siehe unter 2.) werden standardmäßig für eine Dauer von 31 Tagen gespeichert.

11. Ihre Rechte

Sie haben einen Anspruch auf Auskunft über die von pswp gespeicherten personenbezogenen Daten sowie einen Anspruch auf Berichtigung oder Löschung, auf Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, auf Widerspruch gegen die Verarbeitung sowie auf Datenübertragbarkeit. Falls Sie eine Einwilligung zur Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten erteilt haben, können Sie diese jederzeit widerrufen.

Sie können sich außerdem mit Beschwerden an eine zuständige Aufsichtsbehörde wenden (etwa die Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

12. Überarbeitung dieser Richtlinie

Diese Datenschutzerklärung ist auf dem Stand von Mai 2018. Durch Aktualisierung dieser Seite oder geänderte gesetzliche Anforderungen kann diese Richtlinie sich von Zeit zu Zeit ändern. Sie sollten diese Seite gelegentlich wieder aufrufen, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie auch mit eventuellen Änderungen einverstanden sind.
