Justus Quecke advises companies, governments and authorities on politically sensitive areas of administrative, constitutional and European law. He focuses on strategic regulatory matters, in particular regarding environmental, planning and energy law. He also represents our clients in proceedings before public authorities and in disputes before administrative courts and the Federal Constitutional Court. Justus speaks German and English
Background
Justus studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at the University of Cape Town. After graduating, he was a research fellow and junior lecturer at Humboldt University of Berlin, where he did a doctoral dissertation in constitutional law. Justus completed his legal training at the Berlin Court of Appeal, also working at the German Chancellery, the Federal Constitutional Court and the Berlin office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
