Benedikt Wolfers presents consequences of new autonomous vehicle regulation for business models
The international conference AEK in Ludwigsburg assembles OEMs, Tier1 suppliers, SDS providers, L4 transport service providers and technical services from Asia, US and Europe. Benedikt has presented to the audience what the new international regulation on autonomous vehicles means for their business models.
The L4 regulation addresses the vehicle manufacturers, operators and technical supervisors whereas from a business perspective core players are SDS providers, manufacturers, L4 transport service providers and private consumers. Benedikt has explained five shifts the new regulation means for the business: the role of the SDS provider, the L4 operator as new regulatory subject, the emergence of technical supervisors, the change in liability allocation and the need to cooperate, e.g. in L4 test drive projects.
