Wir freuen uns sehr über Benjamin Nußberger in Berlin

Benjamin studierte Rechtswissenschaften an der Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. An der Columbia Law School, New York (USA), erwarb er einen LL.M. Nach Stationen bei der UN in New York und Jerusalem promovierte er an der Universität zu Köln mit einem zweijährigen Forschungsaufenthalt an der University of Oxford zu einem aktuellen völkerrechtlichen Thema. Er forschte dabei zu der völkerrechtlichen Regulierung von zwischenstaatlicher Unterstützung kriegsführender Parteien, die zuletzt beim russischen Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine weiter Bedeutung erlangt hat. Parallel war er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Universität zu Köln und als Lehrbeauftragter an der University of Oxford tätig. Sein Referendariat absolvierte Benjamin am Kammergericht Berlin, u.a. mit Stationen im Bundeskanzleramt und im Auswärtigen Amt. Benjamin verstärkt unser Umweltrechtsteam in Berlin. Dort sind aktuelle Themen unter anderem das Klimaschutzrecht und die Abwehr von Klimaklagen, die Sicherstellung der Versorgungssicherheit durch die Verlängerung der Laufzeit von Kohle- und Kernkraftwerken, der vorgezogene Kohleausstieg, der beschleunigte Ausbau der Offshore-Windenergie, Wasserstofferzeugung sowie Projekte der Chemischen Industrie, des Bergbaus und der Infrastruktur.
